Commercial Members

CT Commercial Real Estate Alliance

In the mid-1980s, a small group of Commercial Brokers in the Hartford area formed a commercial organization that would foster professional development in their industry. This group continued to prosper and became known as the CT Commercial Real Estate Alliance of the Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS®.

The main objective of the Alliance is to represent the interest of the commercial members and to increase professionalism. Therefore, our membership concentration is focused on education and public awareness of legislation and events concerning the commercial marketplace in Connecticut. The CT Commercial Real Estate Alliance sponsors courses that are geared for commercial real estate agents. In addition, the Alliance has also created legal documents and contracts geared specifically towards the commercial transaction.

2014 Commercial Awards

National Commercial Awards

Each year, NAR honors accomplished REALTORS® in commercial real estate by celebrating their local achievement through recognition in our National Commercial Awards. Honorees have received awards from their local association, state association, community organizations or brokerages, making them eligible to be nominated by their local association for this NAR recognition.

Congratulations to Jay Wamester winning the  Co-Star Power Broker Award, who has been added to the list of honorees in the 2014 National Commercial Awards.  He will receive a certificate and was detailed in the spread that was included in the Show Daily at the Annual NAR Conference.

Regarding the ACE Awards, GHAR/CT Commercial RE Alliance was given Honorable Mention in the Education/Professionalism category for the collaborative annual education conference held in October and in partnership with University of Connecticut.

Commercial Services Accreditation

The Commercial Services Accreditation is a prestigious recognition program, acknowledging local and state REALTOR® associations for their commitment to providing commercial services to membership, engaging commercial members within the association, and developing the association as a voice and resource for commercial real estate in the local market. The program was developed by NAR with the help of commercial structures in 2008 to help any association develop and strengthen the commercial services offered locally to members and as a membership recruitment tool.
