Through a merger in early 2020, the Litchfield County Board of REALTORS^® (LCBR) came under the governance of GHAR and the Litchfield County Chapter of GHAR was created. The Litchfield County Chapter (LCC) of GHAR is located at 21 Prospect St. in Torrington and serves all GHAR members in greater Litchfield County.  Sherylann DiSalvo, Director of Chapter Services, and Bambina (Bambi) Goodenough, Membership Data Specialist, currently staff the LCC location.

The Chapter holds informative legislative breakfasts, classes, and social events,  in addition to programs that inform the public and support area non-profits. 2026 TJ Zappulla REALTOR® Scholarship Grant - $2000 Award

The Litchfield County Chapter of the Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® is proud to provide one recipient with a scholarship in honor of longtime REALTOR® member TJ Zappulla, whose unwavering dedication to REALTORS®, charitable and civic organizations and his community will continue to inspire REALTORS® for generations. TJ joined Litchfield County Board of REALTORS® in 1976 and remained a member until his death in 2012. Over the course of his thirty-six-year span as a REALTOR®, he served on thirty-two local and state committees as well as several positions on the local Board of Directors and as a director for the state association. Over the years, he developed a passion for legislative issues and became a political advocate for REALTORS®, and by extension property owners.  He served as LCBR’s Legislative Committee Chair for sixteen years, and during this time he developed three major legislative events Legislative Night, Meet the Candidates, and the Local Leadership Breakfast. As a result, many Associations sought TJ out to start their own similar events. He championed legislative responsibility by encouraging REALTORS® to monitor legislation affecting the real estate industry and depending on its impact, to take action to support or rally against it by communicating with their legislators. Our hope is that the TJ Zappulla, REALTOR® Scholarship Grant will assist the recipient in reaching their full potential and becoming an inspiration for others.
