This contract has been changed to add the following statements to the Mortgage Contingency section of the contract:
“Buyer will also make prompt and diligent efforts to obtain property/casualty insurance and, if applicable, flood insurance.” And to add “lender approval of binders for property/casualty insurance and flood insurance (if applicable),” as one of the conditional items the Buyer has the right to terminate if not met on or before the mortgage contingency date.

Other housekeeping items include removing any gender specific terms and references to the use of fax machines.
