According to the Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR), the median sales price of single-family homes in greater Hartford increased 11.0 percent (from $351,500 to $390,000), when compared to June of last year. Closed sales fell 31.4 percent (from 733 to 503) and pending sales decreased 21.9 percent (from 653 to 510). Inventory decreased 33.6 percent (from 1135 to 754) and new listings decreased 28.3 percent (from 869 to 623), when compared to June of last year. The average days on market until sale remained unchanged at 15 days during this same year over year timeframe.
The Connecticut REALTORS® Foundation announced their 2023 Raymond F. Gates, Jr. Memorial Scholarship winners. The Raymond F. Gates, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1976 in memory of Raymond F. Gates, Jr. following his tragic death in an automobile accident. Mr. Gates was the Executive Vice President of the Connecticut REALTORS®. Over the past 47 years, children of REALTORS® have been awarded scholarships totaling more than $1,000,000.

According to the Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR), inventory of single-family homes in greater Hartford decreased 34.4 percent (from 1028 to 674) and new listings decreased 28.3 percent (from 817 to 586), when compared to May of last year. The median sales price increased 4.3 percent (from $345,000 to $360,000). Closed sales fell 22.8 percent (from 535 to 413) and pending sales decreased 26.4 percent (from 652 to 480). The average days on market until sale increased 35.3 percent (from 17 to 23 days) during this same year over year timeframe.

The award recognizes a Realtor® who has made an extraordinary impact on their community through their volunteer time and talents. As a result of Christine’s volunteer work, Protectors of Animals (POA) will receive $1000 from the GHAR Foundation.

According to the Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR), the median sales price of single-family homes in greater Hartford increased 2.4 percent (from $323,750 to $331,625). Inventory dropped 36.3 percent (from 945 to 602) and new listings decreased 41.4 percent (from 768 to 450), when compared to April of last year. Closed sales fell 30.1 percent (from 448 to 313) and pending sales decreased 26.1 percent (from 541 to 400). The average days on market until sale increased 8.3 percent (from 24 to 26 days) during this same year over year timeframe.

According to the Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR), the inventory of single-family homes in greater Hartford dropped 28.5 percent (from 782 to 559) when compared to March of last year. Closed sales dropped 26.9 percent (from 416 to 304) and pending sales decreased 27.7 percent (from 494 to 357). The median sales price increased 5.9 percent (from $306,800 to $325,000), New listings decreased 33.1 percent (from 643 to 430) and the average days on market until sale increased 3.1 percent (from 32 to 33) from this same year over year timeframe.

According to the Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR), the median sales price of single-family homes in greater Hartford increased 9.8 percent (from $280,000 to $307,500), when compared to February of last year. Closed sales dropped 19.5 percent (from 333 to 268) and pending sales decreased 19.2 percent (from 395 to 319). New listings decreased 25.9 percent (from 428 to 317) and inventory decreased 29.3 percent (from 711 to 503). The average days on market until sale remained unchanged at 36 days from this same year over year timeframe.

According to the Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR), closed sales of single-family homes in greater Hartford dropped 22.4 percent (from 411 to 319) and pending sales decreased 22.1 percent (from 421 to 328), when compared to January of 2022. The median sales price increased 10.8 percent (from $287,000 to $318,000) and new listings decreased 16.7 percent (from 3778 to 314). Inventory decreased 24.8 percent (from 725 to 545) and the average days on market until sale decreased 8.8 percent (from 34 to 31).

According to the Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR), closed sales of single-family homes in Greater Hartford decreased 36.0 percent (from 656 to 420) over December of 2021. The median sales price increased 2.7 percent (from $295,000 to $303,000) and pending sales dropped 27.1 percent (from 483 to 352). New listings decreased 34.2 percent (from 307 to 202) and inventory dropped 28.7 percent (from 841 to 600), during this same year over year period.
