Local REALTOR® Association Installs 2021 President

(Hartford, Conn., January 22, 2021) – The Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR) announces Alexa Kebalo Hughes of eXp Realty, will serve as 2021 President. Kebalo was installed to the position at the GHAR Virtual Installation on January 21, 2021. The event also recognized the 2021 installation of the Board of Directors. Kebalo succeeds Diane McAdams as the top volunteer leader of the local Realtor association, which serves over 4800 members throughout the greater Hartford area.

Kebalo is the youngest president in the 100 year history of the Association. She began her career in real estate in 2011 and has become heavily involved in the association on the local, state and national level. “I am so excited at the possibilities for supporting GHAR and our members’ business in 2021,” said Kebalo. “As a Realtor leader, I am dedicated to protecting private property rights, creating equal housing opportunities for all, and promoting the American dream of homeownership.”

Currently volunteering on the CT Realtors Board of Directors, the National Association of REALTORS® RPAC Participation Council, Kebalo is involved in numerous leadership programs in the real estate industry, and actively supports pro-homeowner legislation in Connecticut. She has been a member of the GHAR Board of Directors since 2017, a member of numerous GHAR committees, and as a Connecticut REALTORS® Director.
