Committee Objectives

Bridge Committee

Bridges the gap between GHAR and underrepresented members by outreach and engagement through events, education, and support that enhances overall participation in GHAR. Meets as needed.  View details in the committee operating format.  -sign up-

Broker Services Committee*

Identifies Broker-owner and Office Manager needs and solutions. Open to only to Brokers & Managers. Meets as needed. View details in the committee operating format.  -sign up-

Bylaws Review Committee*

Reviews the Association Bylaws semi-annually and proposes changes to the Board of Directors. Must have current or previous experience on the GHAR Board of Directors. Meets semi-annually or as needed. View details in the committee operating format.  -sign up-

Community Involvement Committee

Strengthen the relationship between REALTORS® and the Greater Hartford community. Determine what the Association can do to encourage, enrich, empower and enable the affinities that exist between the local community and the Association. Equity Committee

To support and achieve outcomes related to our GHAR Diversity statement: To promote a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment through open communication and equal access to programs and services. Meets as needed. View details in the committee operating format.  -sign up-

Government Affairs Committee

Strives to build better government relations on state and local level. Encourages REALTOR® participation in government affairs programs and activities. Develops and implements fund-raising programs to promote Member investments in the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC). Meets as needed. Legal Awareness Committee*

Reviews current legal issues on behalf of membership and maintains the Association's real estate contracts and standard forms to comply with new real estate regulations and member protection needs. Litchfield County Chapter*

Ensure that GHAR services are provided locally to GHAR members in Litchfield County. Services, will include, but not necessarily be limited to, education classes, social networking events, and fundraising events to preserve the REALTOR® identity within the local community and/or foster the collegiality of the local Litchfield County membership. Member Services Committee

Regional Events Committee

Young Professionals Network (YPN)

GHAR's YPN plans events to engage young REALTORS® to promote their leadership and professional growth by providing educational and social networking events in a casual, progressive and fun environment.
