(Hartford, Conn., June 26, 2020) – The Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR) and it’s members raised $7250 for Foodshare, a regional foodbank serving Hartford & Tolland counties. The GHAR Foundation matched the donations up to $3000 and members met that match in just one day.

REALTORS® are champions for the communities they serve and offering our help now is more important than ever. GHAR understands the hardship during these unprecedented times and partnering with Foodshare to help get the most basic need to our neighbors is our goal.

“Our association leadership and our members felt a need to help in a way that was safe and would make an impact,” said Holly Callanan, GHAR CEO. “Foodshare is a fantastic organization and one we are proud to support. Thanks to the generosity of REALTORS®, our donation is estimated to provide over 18,000 meals to those in need.”
