Bridge Louis E. Allen Sr. Scholarship of GHAR
The GHAR Bridge Committee Scholarship has been renamed: ‘Bridge Louis E. Allen Sr. Scholarship’ in honor of the first Black REALTOR® admitted to the Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® in 1963.
In an effort to ease the financial burden of a new REALTOR® member just starting in the business, the Bridge Louis E. Allen Sr. Scholarship of GHAR is based on a one-time reimbursement of REALTOR® fees paid (exclusive of licensing) and will be awarded to a newly licensed agent within 3 months to 2 years of application. The application deadline has passed for 2024. Please check back in late summer 2025.
