(Hartford, Conn., January 30, 2026) – The Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR) is pleased to announce David Sartirana, broker/owner of Northwest CT Realty, as the Association’s 2026 President. Sartirana was installed to the position at the GHAR Annual Meeting on January 29rh, which took place at Farmington Gardens in Farmington. The event also recognized the 2026 installation of the Board of Directors. Sartirana previously served as GHAR President-Elect, Vice President, and First Vice President in 2025, 2024, and 2023, respectively.
“It’s an honor to serve as president of Connecticut’s largest local real estate association,” said Sartirana. “My focus will be to support our members and reinforce the value of homeownership and the expertise Realtors bring to every transaction.”
Sartirana has been a REALTOR® for over 20 years and throughout his career, he has played an influential role in shaping the real estate environment across Connecticut. He was recently named 2025 GHAR REALTOR® of the Year, the highest honor awarded by peers at the local association level. He serves as a director at Connecticut REALTORS® and is involved nationally by serving on the Broker Engagement Council at the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
Sartirana is also deeply committed to his community, with more than 40 years of service to the Winsted Fire Department, including prior service as chief. Through his work with various community organizations, his service as a trustee, and his consistent support of local causes, Sartirana demonstrates that real estate is about more than property—it is about people and the communities they build together.
