What a day of volunteering and providing a safe living space for Hartford homeowners! Volunteer members from GHAR helped a homeowner a 45 Roxbury St on Saturday. The rainy weather didn't dampen our spirits! We left with sore muscles but a full heart.

The South Windsor Stroll for Charity was held on June 26th at Evergreen Walk. We had over 55 in attendance and raised over $4500! It was hot but our members, friends, and sponsors made it all worth it to support the Network Against Domestic Abuse.

The rain did not stop this dedicated group of volunteers at the GHAR sponsored house on April 29th! We had 25 volunteers working towards the same goal - helping Hartford homeowners age safely in their homes. It was a fantastic day!

GHAR members, friends, and family attended the 2022 Holiday & Volunteer Appreciation party on December 1st at the Hartford Golf Club. It was a great night to appreciate our volunteers and enjoy food, drinks, and dancing. Our generous members also brought a ton of canned goods for local shelters and donated to the Be Homeful campaign to keep families together and at home this holiday season. So nice to be together and back at that beautiful venue!

Such a great night strolling through Middletown for charity! So great to see everyone and raise money for a worthy cause, St. Vincent de Paul. Every day about 200 individuals use the soup kitchen and more than 800 families shop at the food pantry every month.

Dedicated volunteers worked a day in early October to make sure the Hartford homeowner had a safe environment to age in place. We fixed stairs, built a railing and removed an old water heater - plus more! The day also aligned with NAR's volunteer week. What a rewarding experience!
